Friday Morning, July 10
Enjoy the scenery as we slowly travel over country roads.
I missed my dad. He would have enjoyed this drive.
This horse was as interested in me as I was of it.
Oh, I enjoyed that. I hope you did too.

Our next stop will be Mount Hope Auction where the Ohio Truck Rally took place.
I like the markings on the horse. It looks well cared-for. There are 2 horses down the street from us that look like they never get any attention at all.
I thought the same thing – that the animals looked like someone was taking good care of them.
What a lovely country drive — thanks for taking us along! And how nice to see so much green grass and all the animals– we have neither here these days!
I love a country drive when there are animals and green grass.
What a lovely country ride. You mentioned your father would have loved the drive too. Before they died my parents would take a morning drive in the country almost every day and stop at a wayside restaurant for their breakfast. I too love early morning drives on country roads with my camera! A time to think, dream, and just rejoice in the beauty all around.
We are often on interstates, and I especially like when the country road is a new road for me.
Beauty, grace and strength…in the frantic world I live in, these photos bless my soul
I think we all live in a frantic world. I know that I crave beauty, grace, and strength.
I just never get tired of time in Amish country ~
Me neither.
