Saturday Evening, July 4
His birthday was a few days earlier, but this was the first date that worked for a party.
Josh and Allie waiting for supper.
Jesse’s choice for his birthday meal: sausage sandwiches, French bread, and buttered noodles. 🙂
Then we went outside to enjoy the beautiful evening.
Jere had a few fireworks to celebrate Jesse’s and our country’s birthday. (They were not close to the swing set, but the angle of my camera makes it look that way.)
There were also a few sparklers.
Then we sat back and enjoyed about six or seven neighborhood and community fireworks.
We could see fireworks on the horizon to the north, south, east, and west.
Most were not very close, but it was delightful to see the sky filled with beautiful displays – celebrating our country’s independence.
The tomato great looks so interesting!
Tomato TRAY ~ silly phone!
The tomatoes were delicious.
Looks like a great party! How old is Jesse? Is that Jana with the happy smile on her face?
So glad she is better.
Jesse is eight, and yes that is Jana with the happy smile. She has kept a happy smile through out the past year, often when she was not feeling well.
Looks like a wonderful birthday party — fireworks and all!
Wonderful is a good description. 🙂
