Road Trip – Part 3 – Rochelle to Duluth

Thursday, April 9

Doing a quick update on our trip, because I am not sure if I will have time or internet for the next five days.

DSC_8677We got into more heavy rain – turn on your 4-ways or pull off the road kind of rain.

DSC_8684Cerwin brought a cinnamon roll along from the motel and enjoyed it with his second cup of coffee – as we traveled north.

DSC_8693We eventually drove out of the heavy rain.

DSC_8699I enjoy seeing Wisconsin farms.

DSC_8707We stopped at a quick stop for a snack/lunch.

Being in Wisconsin, I was craving cheese and pretzels.

DSC_8709Cerwin needed more sugar. 🙂

DSC_8713Hazelnut latte for me and a cappuccino for Cerwin.

DSC_8718More scenery on the way to Duluth.

DSC_8739Our motel ahead – Radisson.

Cerwin found a great deal for our one-night stay here – the cheapest rate on motels so far on this trip.

DSC_8746After checking in we drove a few blocks – on the same street – to shop at Duluth Trading Co.

DSC_8749We thought this may be the headquarters, but it is in Wisconsin.

He eventually enjoyed a cup of coffee while I shopped. 🙂

DSC_8754My purchase. I love these sneaker/sandals.

DSC_8762Then we went to the 15th floor of our hotel for supper in the revolving restaurant.
