Sunday Afternoon, March 29
We were invited to Jere and Kristen’s for birthday cake – after our visit with Cerwin’s mother.
Getting her ears pulled by Daddy.
When taking the previous picture, I noticed the verse on their bulletin board.
We asked Mother High to sign a piece of note paper for her.
From Roy and Deb – because her dream car is a Mustang.
Several of her guy friends gave her M & M’s this year – a lot of M & M’s.
The guys have been faithful in praying for her and showing their concern since her illness began last August. I guess they think M & M’s will help. 🙂
One of those guys, Sam, was able to come for cake and ice cream.
I wanted a photo of Jana, but Roy photo bombed her.
Thanks, Jana, for inviting us to your party. I love birthday parties.
So happy to see Jana happy and smiling! Looks like such a fun birthday! I pray for her regularly.
Thank you. It is such a mystery that she has good and bad days. This was a good day.
That looks like a wonderful 16th birthday :-)!
It was a great party!
She’s a lovely girl. I had to admire the way you all cut that cake…whenever I read your blog I love to soak up the way your family does things, it all seems so neat and orderly. Anyway, the gifts and photos are so sweet, Doris, and the note from Great Grandma a treasure.
Photos probably make things seem more neat and orderly than they are. 🙂 Kristen and Jere always cut a round cake that way.
the note from her great-grandma is absolutely precious ~
