Saturday Evening, March 28
638 people filled Yoder’s banquet room and enjoyed a delicious meal prior to the concert.
Gene served as master of ceremonies.
Yoder’s does a great job of serving food to large groups.
We change the menu every year, but buttered noodles are a favorite and must stay.
Following the meal, The Browders blessed us with a fabulous concert.
A highlight was a testimony by Mr. Browder concerning having polio as a child and how at the age of 8 his fingers began working and he learned to play guitar.
Bunny gave an interesting update of ministry happenings.
Following Bunny’s update, Cerwin introduced Dee and Cody. Dee gave us the highlights of Cody’s healing following a serious car accident last summer. Doctors did not give Shake and Dee any assurance that their son would live or ever walk again.
They give TFC’s prayer partners much credit for the miracle healing of Cody – by their faithful display of love and prayers.
The Browder’s closed the program with another thirty-minute concert.
My favorite song was He Took The Nails – https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c-MGUJi5qRw – click here to hear it.
It is such a blessing to see answers to our prayers so clearly! I have been praying for Cody all this time, since your daughter Deb has kept updates and reminders on facebook.
He still has a way to go, but is doing incredibly well for what he has been through.
Oh, and what is on those buttered noodles? They look yummier than mine do!
They are bread crumbs – or cracker crumbs – browned in lots of butter. It makes them especially good.
