You may have noticed that I didn’t mention Cerwin during my mud sale posts…
…that’s because he was at a 75th birthday party for our friend Gene.
His and Cookie’s son Mark – in black.
Their other son Matthew – center – wearing brown.
It sounds like the guys had a great time.
After lunch we went to visit Cerwin’s mother and met these Amish girls walking home from the mud sale. You can tell they were there by their boots.
Shortly after getting to Mother’s room, Roy and Deb stopped in. Since they had their little goat “Moxie” in the car, we asked a nurse if they could bring her in.
Some of these pictures are from Cerwin’s cell phone, others are from Deb’s camera.
Mother enjoyed watching her chew on paper.
Cerwin’s sister Velda and her husband Mel were also there during our visit.
Notice Moxie wears a pamper. She would make quite a mess if she didn’t wear that, as it seem she is always eliminating something. 🙂
This is the time of year we see and hear many flocks of Canada geese flying overhead – especially in the evenings.
I thought it looked like Moxie was wearing a diaper. I know from the many goats in Africa that a diaper would be important for a goat to be indoors.
Yes, a diaper is real important if you are having a goat inside. 🙂
A very lovely post! I love the three girls walking home from the mud sale! And Moxie is so little — how cute!!! I’m impressed that you have so many geese — those are lovely shots of them flying in formation! We used geese (and buffalos) as examples in team building exercises — they fly with a leader, and when the leader gets tired another takes over. They were a wonderful example!
Geese are good examples of leadership.
Looks like the little goat was a real hit ~ so cute!
She is the cutest little thing. She is one of triplets, and since the mother has only two nipples, someone had to take care of the runt.
