Saturday Afternoon, February 28
In this entry you will see some of the faces that go with the hats in last night’s post.
You will notice that many girls and ladies did not wear hats.
For those who follow our daughter Deb’s “Nut Hut” posts, Darlene (left) is the one who rescued the owl from the manure and brought it to Deb for cleanup. She washed it, allowed it to dry out overnight, then released it in the morning.
The male in the room is RD (owner and chef).
The lady to his right is his mom and organizer of the tea. The young lady in purple is his niece and a waitress, and the one to his left is a sous chef.
My table partner was this pretty young lady.
She had studied up on the proper way to hold a tea cup and gave us a demonstration.
Her very attractive sister was across the table from me.
Their lovely mom was also across the table from us.
And my favorite Deb sat next to me on the end of the table. She is the reason I received an invitation.
I loved her hat.

Tomorrow night I will post pictures of the food and place settings.
Beautiful pictures Mom, so glad you could join us for the day
Thanks – and thanks for the invitation.
Looks like so much fun! That color blue is so perfect for Deb! She is beautiful, and since we have been facebook friends, I sure hope to meet her some day!
It would be so much fun to introduce you and Deb.
That looks like a fun group of ladies — each doing what you want about the hats (yay).
They were a fun group of ladies.
