I was anxious to open the box that arrived from National Wildlife Federation.
It included cards using one of our daughter Deb’s photos.
This one is of Chester when he was a baby.
Jared and Jesse were here for a bit after school, and when Jesse saw me stitching Jared’s picture, he asked when I would begin his.
I laid the pattern out and told him that I will start it in a few weeks.
I saw something moving in the field across the road and used my camera to zoom in on the Canada geese.
Congratulations to Deb — that’s a wonderful photo of the raccoon! I love your stitched pics of the kids — but I thought you had completed them all! Gorgeous sunsets — I hope you’re not hit too hard by the incoming storm, and that this will be the last of the season for you!
Jesse is the last of the grandchildren – then I will start on great-grandchildren and maybe some other things – like the antique truck that our son owns. We are expecting something like 5 inches of snow. Last night it was ice. 🙂
Thank you for featuring the card Mom. Beautiful pictures as always.
You are welcome.
Congratulations to your daughter — what a beautiful card. How long does it take you to do one of those cross stitch pictures — what a wonderful idea. Your sunset pictures are beautiful — looks like you’re in the path of some bad weather tonight.
I could probably do it in three or four months if I worked on it faithfully. It usually takes me about a year – or more. Yes, we are expecting 5-6 inches, and it is really snowing now – at 5 am.
How long does it take you do finish one of those cross stitches, Doris?

So excited about Deb’s photo being used for the card! She is an amazing photographer 🙂
I agree with you Jill.
