We were out of the house early and headed into the sunrise as we traveled to the Lancaster Chapter Prayer Breakfast at Yoder’s in New Holland.
I love driving into a sunrise when God is putting on a show.
I shared my part first.
I told about some of my experiences in truck stops in the early days of our ministry with TFC and shared a challenge on reaching out to others.
Cerwin gave a ministry update and shared a few recent experiences that our chaplains had in chapels.
He also gave a chapel construction update.
Cerwin and his helpers are in the early stages of building a chapel for Florida.
After leaving Yoder’s we went to Landis Homes to visit Cerwin’s mother.
Despite the pretty sunrise, the day was turning gray and cloudy.
It looks as if the snow really came down quickly. We have had rain again this morning, though it’s stopped for the afternoon.
We knew the snow was coming. It is snowing and raining again today.
It always feels good to get home on such a day ~ catching up on your blog again ~ 🙂
Yes, it is good to be home after driving in snow.
