Every time I looked outside or heard the wind, I thought of Winnie the Pooh.

My version of our blustery day.
~~~
It is difficult to take a picture of “bluster”, but in this photo you can see the bird feeders swaying. I won’t add bird seed until the wind dies down.
Along with the wind, it has been very cold.
As I enter this at 7:00 PM – the temperature on our thermometer is at 1 degree.
Blowing snow across our valley.
Our roads were plowed this morning, but blowing snow caused minor drifting.
As vehicles got to the level area of the road in front of our house there was not much drifted snow, but I noticed that they drove quite slowly between us and the farm.
our blustery-est day was Valentine’s Day. It was supposed to be windy this afternoon, but it was nothing compared to Sat. This morning though when Tom drove me to the eye Dr. it was -3. We will both be so thankful for Spring when it comes, won’t we?.
I am still enjoying winter, but I will be ready for spring by the middle of March.
Those pictures could have been taken here — that’s just what our day looked like!
It is probably even colder at your place.
the blowing snow helped capture the feeling of bitter cold…starkly beautiful
Thanks. It is quite different weather from your area.
My goodness it does look blustery! That shot of the bird feeders reminds me of trying to shoot the wind here one day! But your cold is what makes it blustery, and not just windy!
This would be a good time to come visit you. 🙂
