Following a visit with Cerwin’s mother, I noticed a lot of birds in the sky, and at first thought they were Canada geese.
But then I saw more, and realized that they were snow geese.
They almost look like an airplane.
Soon they covered the sky above us.
They look like a snow blizzard when they are landing.
I’m so glad we were there at that moment.
My goodness — thousands of snow geese! Looks like a convention of them!
They gather in this area – at Middle Creek Wildlife Management Center – It is estimated that there are 60,000 there during the peak of migration. http://www.portal.state.pa.us/portal/server.pt?open=514&objID=621427&mode=2
Thank you for the link! They are magnificent birds, and you are fortunate to have them nearby!
You are welcome – and I agree.
Wow! that’s a lot of snow geese!

That’s exciting. I wonder if we ever see them here? One time I was at my son’s waiting for his kids to get off the school bus. While I was waiting, flocks and more flock of birds flew over, way up high. At first I thought they were Canadian geese, but then realized they were something else.

Oh my, what a privilege! I would have traveled far too witness that!

How beautiful, and how good that you were able to see this!
I agree on both things.
