Jere and Kristen took us and their family to see Padding Bear at Penn Cinema as part of our Christmas gift. (Our children know that our favorite gifts are those that involve doing something – anything – with them.)
Paddington is the kind of little guy that you want to take home with you – except you know he will get into a lot of trouble.
It began in a forest in Peru when an explorer invited him to London.
Then there was a disaster (it appeared to be an earthquake) where only he and an old aunt were left. She encouraged him to follow his dream to London.
What an adventure for a little bear – who eventually found a family – got into a lot of trouble and in some frightening situations (I could have done without those).
It reminded me a bit of the Home Alone movies.
The best parts are his love for marmalade sandwiches and when he used toothbrushes to clean the wax out of his ears.
Of course it all ended well. 🙂
Thanks, Jere and Kristen. That was fun.
Great Christmas gift idea ~ just being with them! 🙂
Yes, I love doing things with our children.
