We started out in eastern Ohio and by daylight were in western Pennsylvania.
Cerwin’s goal was to stop at Sapp Brothers Truck Stop for breakfast.
It was 9:15 when we arrived here.
This area of Happy Valley is one of my favorite places to take truck photos.
There are still some pretty leaves in our area.
The truck is home. Trouble free.
Thank you! Thank you for praying.

After leaving the TFC Office/Shop, we stopped to visit Cerwin’s mother. She is doing well. There was a therapist with her when we arrived, and when we said that we are anxious to see her walking, the therapist asked if she wanted to show us now.
She did! She still needs assistance and uses a walker, but she used a walker before she fell.
Yesterday she had forty something staples removed from her hip and head, so we are hoping this increases the speed of her healing.
It was good to see “our” valley.
I am never quite ready to get home from a trip until I am in our house – which you can see in the distance – on the right.
It is good to be home.
“Home again, home again, jiggety jog”. Glad Cerwins’ mother is improving.
Yes, it is good to be home.
Oh wow ~ looks like a great trip home ~ wasn’t autumn splendid this year? We seemed to experience it twice ~ once in Vermont and again when we returned home.
Yes, autumn was splendid this year.
Your scenery is absolutely magnificent! I love the veins in the rock along the road! Is TMI still operational? (They’re finally not going to reopen San Onofre, just south of here, due to mismanagement and faulty design. And a judge has indicated that the consumers will NOT have to pay for the decommissioning — hurray!) Those last few miles must be a most welcome sight — they’re really beautiful! And I’m glad to hear that Cerwin’s mother is doing so well!
Yes, TMI is operating. However, they never reopened the one that had the breakdown.
Thanks Doris, for posting. This post as blessed me. Thank-you!!!!
Thanks for your comment. I feel blessed when a post is a blessing to someone.
