Sunday, October 26 ~ Rolling Prairie, Indiana, to Duluth, Minnesota
I was hoping to capture the pretty reflection of lights on the water, but there wasn’t enough light while in a moving vehicle.
Cerwin wanted to avoid Chicago Skyway by taking I-80/I-94, but a bridge was closed.
Traffic wasn’t too bad since it was a Sunday morning.
Before long we were on the west side of Chicago, traveling north on I-90. The sky ahead of us was a mixture of pink and blue – and behind us…
…there was evidence that the sun was going to rise.
A restaurant over the interstate.
Then we began seeing the sunrise behind us.
Our morning consisted of stopping for breakfast, and listening (cell phone) to our Sunday school lesson and church service from home as we traveled.
The fall colors are definitely beyond their peak in this area of the country.
We saw several farmers doing their corn harvest.
As we approached Duluth, it began looking more and more like the north country.
So here we are in a Duluth area truck stop, praising the Lord for another good, safe day.
Thank you for your prayers.
You do travel through some beautiful country!
I agree!
