Wednesday, August 6“K” was fascinated by my electric toothbrush and stood in the doorway of the bathroom ~ not sure what to think of the sound.
Photos by her mom, Judi.
Supper at Landis Homes with Cerwin’s mother.
“K” likes to investigate everything, and wanted to make this “work”. Since her legs were too short I had her sit on my lap.
She loved getting a ride on Great-grandma’s walker.
Looking at pictures on my computer.

Sisters who haven’t seen each other for two years.
Juanita lives in North Carolina and got a ride with friends so she could see Reuben, Judi, and “K” and some other family members in our area.
She brought some cute baby gifts.
Reuben, our brother-in-law Mel, and Cerwin watch from the background. Juanita was staying with Mel and Velda.
Cerwin and Reuben talking about something concerning Reuben & Judi’s van.
The girls went for a walk. Notice who is in the lead. 🙂
How fun to see family from afar!
We enjoyed being part of it.
Cerwins’ mother has such a beautiful smile! Of course, so does Kinza. Do you have a recipe for the tea? How much mint to how much water? Do you use only the leaves? I make mine kind of hit or miss. I think my mint is garden mint. It’s not peppermint. I am growing some chocolate mint, but the time I made tea with it, I didn’t care for it.
There are recipes, but I just bring water to a boil, add the entire (washed) tea stems, turn the heat off and let the tea in the hot water for about 8 minutes. Then I strain and add sugar to taste. If it is a really good batch, we drink it as is. Sometimes I add a bit of lemonade if I think it needs enhanced. 🙂
