We looked forward to the arrival of our niece Judi, her husband, Reuben, and daughter, “K” (from Wisconsin), and loved having them stay with us as they awaited the birth of a child they planned to adopt.
They arrived on Saturday evening, August 2 and by the middle of the next week were nicely fitting into our house. The garage was kind of their space where Judi and “K” prepared some food, and where they had breakfast and lunch. On this day Reuben was helping Cerwin with chapel construction.
“K” had fallen down some steps two nights earlier, while visiting someone, and had a bruise on her chin.
On this day they were making granola.
Oops! K’s “help” spilled some of the oatmeal.
The next day I tried to capture some pictures of K as she ran in our yard.
She loved to go outside and run.
I made a quick friend if I mentioned the word “outside” to her.
What fun to see this smiling face in our house and yard.
Capturing pictures of her running in our yard was similar to capturing the pictures I took of the butterflies last night. 🙂
