Sunday, July 6
We were on the road ~ heading east ~ shortly after 6:00 AM.
We enjoy traveling on Sunday mornings because Sirius Radio has gospel bluegrass music all morning.
At 10:00 AM we called in to our home church and listened to the singing and message.
Modern technology is an amazing blessing.
We had a relaxing, peaceful day.
The only time we noticed that it was a holiday weekend was when we stopped at a service plaza near Somerset, PA. The place was full of people waiting in lines for food and restrooms.
That was the best road trip I have taken in a long time.
I really enjoyed your Road Trip report. So glad you had a great time. After seeing your Cracker Barrel food report, we went there and my husband had the Camp Fire Meal and loved it 🙂
Oh, fun! I couldn’t remember the name of that meal. It looked good.
That looks like a wonderfully relaxing road trip, even if there was a little work involved! I imagine you know many of the drivers of those trucks you photograpy ~ ~ ~
Sometimes we know the drivers, but in this case we did not know them.
