Photos taken from June 12 to 18.
Summer sunshine is just as nice ~ especially when it highlights our flowers.
We even have a garden this year – one tomato plant. 🙂
It is looking healthy and is starting to bloom.
Our mint tea bed died last summer ~ totally ~ every tea stalk ~ and I had lots.
We thought maybe it was the mulch we used, but are not sure what happened.
I replanted ~ thanks to a few roots from our daughter Deb and our friend Angie – plus I bought a few.
Each plant is looking healthy.
Our mulberry trees will soon be feeding the neighborhood birds.
We will eat a few, but let the birds have most of them.
Daylilies are in full bloom and so pretty.
There is an unusual and rather pretty fungus at the bottom of one of our trees.
Our Shasta daises will soon be in full bloom.
A mourning dove in the afternoon sunshine ~ on our patio table.
The combination of rain and sunshine is producing pretty flowers in our yard.
A female cardinal feeding just outside our kitchen window in the evening sun.
A day after the first Shasta daisy photo I found a few open blooms.
We will have hundreds of blooms in the next few days.

I do enjoy beautiful sunny ~ or rainy ~ summer days.
You’ve had some wonderful summer days! Love the foggy trees, the fungi, and especially the miniature rose!
This is a beautiful time of year in our yard.
That is a perfect rose! I never can decide if I like the red male cardinals best, or the modest understated females. We have something in common. I have 1 tomato plant too.
I have been pleased with our pretty roses this summer. I know. I think both cardinals are pretty. Enjoy your tomatoes this summer.
