Spring is usually the only time of year I see a rose-breasted grosbeak.
Hostas are prettiest when they are new.
The woods behind us is filled with wild flowers and new growth.
Several years ago we planted a few ferns.
I love seeing them uncurl. They look like fiddleheads.
Rain is a part of every spring in this area, and this year we had a lot of rain.
On this day it was windy and rainy.
My sister and her husband gave me this cute bird house for my birthday, so it was fun watching a wren build a nest.
He had trouble getting this branch in the hole, but eventually got it figured out.
I kept an eye on the rhododendron because it looked like it was going to be pretty this year.
ooooooooh ~ I just LOVE that wren house! 🙂 and the hostas are so beautiful when they are brand new, aren’t they? Love the fiddleheads too ~
I agree, and. I love that he built a nest in it.
What a beautiful spring season you are having!
It has been beautiful and green here – and we had more rain last night.
