I have a few more pictures on file that did not fit into any other posts.
These first few shots are signs of spring in Maine ~ from the day I walked on the dead end road that goes by Mark and Diane’s house.
We saw this interesting mailbox one day when we took Elizabeth to an appointment.
Do you think it may be his old bike?
I enjoy seeing creative mailboxes.
Whenever there was nothing else going on, someone was playing Rummy ~ the game of choice on this visit.
Shortly after leaving the house on Sunday morning ~ on our drive home ~ we came upon this interesting old car.
It was a overcast hazy morning, which made for a relaxing drive. It was fun having Hannah and Hezekiah along with us. They are going to Pennsylvania to pick up a car that Hannah has purchased.
I appreciate that we can call in to our church on a Sunday morning and listen to the service when we are traveling.
Our drive home was without incident. However, we came upon an accident on the north side of I-287 in New Jersey. A large, beautiful motorhome was in splinters in a woodlot.
The ambulance pulled away just before we arrived on the scene. Someone’s day was not what they planned on when they woke up in the morning.
The scene of an accident always reminds me of the uncertainty of life and challenges me to keep my heart right with God and people.
That was a beautiful walk you took on the dead end road! What a fun mailbox — I hope it was firmly bolted down! Do stay safe on those trips — life is so fragile!
I am always thankful when we arrive home safely – especially from a long trip.
