It seems strange to post pictures of a cold rainy day on one of the warmest, sunniest days of the year, but that is what came up next in my file of recent pictures.
Wet hyacinth
Wet goldfinches
Male cardinals are beautiful whether wet or dry.
I should have sunnier pictures for tomorrow night.
I’m glad to hear that you’re both having some nice weather! It’s snowing on our mountains this afternoon — highly unusual after March! I love these shots, especially all the goldfinches in the tree!
Your rainy-day pictures are refreshing to me since we’re in the middle of a long, dry spell here. It’s very unusual for spring, since this is when we get most of our rain.
We could really use some rain ~ the last few rains have missed us almost entirely ~ the farmers are hoping for some, I think ~
Our farmers would like it to stay dry for a while. 🙂

The nice weather has been a long time coming.
