Jordan (grandson) plays for Gray. They had a fairly long break between morning and afternoon games.
He did not participate in the homerun derby. He injured his shoulder (I think last year) and tries to save it for the games.
On this hit he had a nice triple
A turkey buzzard took advantage of the breeze and glided effortlessly above us.
Maybe he was watching the game too.
Cerwin visiting with our friend Gary.
Jaden’s mamma made sure his eyes were protected from the sun. 🙂
Aunt Korina took a picture too.
Jordan stretching before he went up to bat.
Fisher Enterprises made delicious food for the event.
Cerwin and I each enjoyed a cheeseburger and shared an order of fries.
Later ~ when I noticed someone with a root beer float ~ I talked Cerwin into sharing one with me. Oh, yum!
We did not stay to the end as we had some work to do in getting ready for the Hershey Easter Dinner at our house the next day ~ but I understand that Gray was the winner of the tournament.
We left the park about 2:30 p.m.
The teams were still playing ball, family members were still cheering for the players, and the children were having fun in the playground.
It was surely a relaxing few hours.
Baseball is always fun to watch when you know the kids who are playing!
Yes, knowing the players helps to add some fun to the day.
Your grandsons are growing up! Love the glasses on the little guy. Is your weather warmer than ours? It’s still cold and damp here.
We have some warm days and others are cool and rainy. Today was cool and sunny.
