Today, April 18
Thanks to four volunteers (Lois Keller, Lois Wells, Josh and Jason Diffenderfer) we labeled and prepared 2,692 individual Highway News & Good News for mailing ~ between 9:00 am and 10:30 am.
I told them that we were glad nobody forgot about it, because if Cerwin and I had to do this job alone, it would take four-and-a-half hours.
Truly, many hands make light work.
Cerwin had the 14 bags at the Lititz Post Office by 11:30. So if you receive a copy in the mail, it is on its way.
If you do not receive this magazine in the mail, you can read them online at http://www.transportforchrist.org/highway/
The May issue (the one we mailed today) will not be available online for a few more days.
Lois Wells noticed these flowers (grape hyacinth) on my blog the other day ~ from my walk-around-the-block photos ~ and brought me a bouquet from her yard.
I experimented with no flash (previous picture) and flash (photo above) to show you the pretty bouquet.
Thoughtful people bless my life.
Thanks, Lois.
