I have seen seventy years worth of sunsets ~ and never tire of this end-of-day beauty.
My interest in a sunset usually begins with the first pink glow in the evening sky.
On this particular evening ~ when I went to photograph the evening sky ~ about a week ago, I noticed that one of our trees was starting to bud, even though it was still quite cold outside.
Seeing little buds on one of our seventy-some trees means that spring must be somewhere ~ just around the corner.
This sunset was narrow because the evening clouds covered up much of the setting sun.
I wonder what the first sunset looked like ~ the one on the fourth day of creation.
