Tuesday, February 18
When Diane and her girls decided to go shopping on Tuesday, I wasn’t sure that I would go along. I am not a fan of shopping.
But, then I thought to myself, “Self you can stay home tomorrow when they drive back to Maine and the house is empty. This is a day you get to spend with some of your favorite ladies.”
Our first stop was the Goodwill store on Route 30 (east of Lancaster). I enjoyed looking through the clothing and household things, then found a seat and enjoyed watching the others shop.
After a quick lunch at Chick-Fil-A we went to Tanger Outlets.
I used the time for exercise and made a quick walk around the outside of the entire shopping center – stopping only at Harry and David (where I bought some pepper jelly) and the kitchen center where I enjoyed looking at cooking items.
I knew that Abby was shopping at Motherhood Maternity, so stopped in to see what she was finding. Oh, what fun Diane and I had “helping” her choose maternity clothing. Abby was glad that I didn’t have my camera with me. 🙂

We got home just in time to prepare for our annual “girls night out” – an evening of pampering.

I scheduled this evening before I knew Diane was going to be here, so called to see if she could be included. There was only an opening for her to get a manicure. However, by afternoon Kristen knew that she was not feeling well and could not go along. So Diane also received a pedicure.

From there we went to a local restaurant for a delicious meal. Don’t we look relaxed?
We missed you Kristen. 🙁
We shared this very delicious strawberry cake.

It was a special day – spent with some of my favorite ladies.
not able to each much right now because of being ill over the weekend, these pictures are torture! 😉
I know. Food doesn’t look good when you don’t feel well.
