This morning I sent the boys out for the Sunday news paper.
They were still barefoot and in their pajamas. I loved the laughter and racing.
This afternoon – when I took a walk around our yard – I discovered that our tomato plant actually has a few tomatoes on it.
I am not sure they will ripen before frost, but then I didn’t plant it either. It came up from leftover seeds from last year.
I like pleasant surprises.
hello Doris and Cerwin love jill
Hi, Jill. Are you still blogging? It is difficult to keep track of everyone since Xanga changed.
Those tomatoes look wonderful — I do hope they ripen before you get frost (when will that be?).
Frost is different each year. Sometimes it is early, and sometimes it is late. Maybe I will have to make a green tomato pie. 🙂
The boys are so happy! Made me smile to see them in their pj’s. And what a nice surprise to see some volunteer tomatoes growing!
