It was a damp, misty morning – following a day of rain.
I delighted in the Maine scenery while enjoying my first cup of coffee.
It takes just over an hour to get to the bridge that tells us we are leaving Maine and entering New Hampshire.
When traveling home from Maine, this is almost always our breakfast stop.
We don’t like to eat a lot when traveling, so McDonald’s breakfast wrap is perfect – and I usually get a smoothie to take along. This one is blueberry pomegranate.
I wonder what this guy has written on the back of his truck?
He probably could use some spelling and grammar help, and I’m not sure about his theology – but I do believe he loves Jesus. 🙂
I gave him a thumbs up as we drove by, and he returned the thumbs up with a big smile.
Somewhere between Connecticut and New York we ran into a bit of rain.
There were subtle signs that the end of summer is near – and fall is just around the corner.
Do you get to stay home for a little while this time? Those are beautiful shots — how far are you from your Maine family?
We have a few small trips with the chapel in the next two months, before another big (personal) trip in November. We have a 500 mile trip to Brunswick, Maine. It takes about 9 1/2 hours.
