We met Deb at Park City Diner for breakfast on Saturday morning to pick up some cookies she baked for Bunny O’Hare – to take to Taste of Mount Joy Cruisin’ Cuisine.
The diner is about half way between our houses.
This event closes Main Street (Barbara to New Haven St. and Marietta Ave to Henry Street) from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Photos by Cerwin with his Coolpix.
The day involves a showcase of nearly 200 cars of all classes with more than 40 awards. A highlight of the show includes more than a dozen area restaurants selling their finest food.
Peg and Bunny O’Hare were the TFC staff people who were invited to bring the chapel to this event. They live in the country – close to Mount Joy.
Cerwin moved the chapel there on Friday.
Stephen Weber, http://www.dailyencouragement.net, a friend of ours and the O’Hare’s stopped in to visit.
Susan and Ken Sanders also stopped by to visit with Peg (center).
Cerwin said it was a good day on the chapel, with lots of visitors.
I needed to do some shopping and get things ready for a large family reunion the next day.
