Friday, July 19
We drove into a beautiful sunrise on Friday morning – the last day of our 19-day trip.
It was good to be back in Pennsylvania and on roads that looked familiar.
I liked this pretty field of corn shocks where we stopped for lunch.
It was just about 5:00 p.m. when we approached our house, and exclaimed over the lush, tall corn in my brothers’ fields.
We have been home for about one week – and back in the routine of our usual life.
It certainly was a fabulous trip.
How beautiful the sunset — and I particularly like that 3rd shot. I hust noticed, with the shots of the cornfields, how different (and wonderful) the perspective is when you are up high in the cab of a truck! What a wonderful trip you’ve had, and welcome home!
Thank you. It is good to be home again.
Oops — how beautiful the sunrise!!!
Our corn is as high as we’ve ever seen it. Glad you had a good trip. Enjoyed the pics. If you do go to Gary in the future, let us know.
Thanks. I will let you know if we go to Gary. It could happen next year. However, the next chapel is a replacement for Hudson, Wisconsin.
