Murray Kuehl, this is the best I can do for a straight-on shot of the chapel in place because the pole is in the way. I hope you noticed that I took one a few days ago – when we were traveling through Montana.
The entrance steps are especially strong and sturdy this time because of a “mistake” where they were made. 🙂 (We like those kinds of mistakes.)

The weather was perfect for an outside dedication service.
The chaplains’ living quarters is beautiful and comfortable.

Dennis Finnamore, Director of Canadian Ministries, gave the opening remarks and the history of ministry in this truck stop.
Dan and Helen were pleased to have thirty-five people in attendance.
Chaplain Dan Harms, Lead Chaplain of Calgary Chapel, had the opening prayer.
A praise and worship team from Rocky Mountain Calvary Chapel led us in a few familiar songs.
Jeff Batzer led the devotional and dedication of the chapel – using the dedication of the tabernacle in the Old Testament as a background for his thoughts – saying that was the first mobile chapel. 🙂

Jeff asked the TFC staff and volunteers to lay hands on the chapel during the prayer of dedication.
Jeff invited everyone to come forward to pray for Chaplain Dan and Helen, Chaplain Sam and Janet, and Volunteer Chaplain Darryl.
