These words are all synonyms of the word miscellaneous – which is a perfect description for this entry of recent happenings in our lives.
I received this photo of our granddaughter Lydia (from Maine) and the taggy blanket she made for a little boy – the son of a secretary at VoTech where she attends.
I never heard of a taggy blanket, but learned this from the Internet.
Taggy blankets are security blankets based on the idea that babies and kids love to rub satin edges, clothing labels and tags.
Shopping for TFC’s Pennsylvania Truck Rally.
What can be more fun than having a sponsor cover the cost for $300.00 worth of toys and telling our granddaughters, Diana, Jana, and Gloria that they can each get a cart and choose $75.00 worth of toys, crafts, and other items for the children’s auction. (I get to spend the other $75.00.
By the way – the Truck Rally is this Saturday, June 22.
For details see the flyer on Page 2 of this blog.
Josh repaired the slate steps to the pavilion bathroom.
After the slate was in place, Cerwin and Josh repaired the pavilion fireplace.
Now it will be nicer to roast hot dogs and marshmallows.
Amish buggies we met recently on our local roads.
One day in late May I looked up and noticed that our Locust trees were filled with flowers.
It feels like the official start to summer when I smell the delightful scent of locust blossoms.
I am so glad you posted the locust tree picture! now I know what we have out back here that smells so good. Lydia took a branch across the street and the “expert” opinion was that we have a honey locust tree.
I am not sure which brand of locust ours is. It may be honey locust as well.
You take the most amazing pictures. The sunset is beautiful and can only be from GOD. Blessings to you.
You are so kind. Yes, I love God’s beautiful sunsets.
