We are blessed to have a public school system that allows graduating students to hold baccalaureate at a local church.
Photos of each of the 224 students was projected on the screen as we waited for the service to begin.
Attendance was not mandatory. Jenna chose to attend, as did about half of the graduates.
She is in the back row – sixth from the left. There was a similar group of graduates on our left.
God was honored through out the entire program.
There were testimonies, scripture readings, and songs.
Shane’s testimony caused a lot of tears as he shared about his brother Seth’s struggle with cancer and eventual death.
Pastor Rob Timlin challenged the students to seek Jesus and follow His example of love, forgiveness, and obedience to God.
The program closed with a candle lighting and recessional.
Our sweet Jenna is on the right.
I took another photo without a flash to give you an idea of what the room really looked like.
We got to do a bit of hugging before going home.
She came to our house to wait for a friend to get home from a brother’s graduation ceremony.
Our other graduate Josh stopped in as I was taking pictures.
I love these two.
Congratulations! Looks like a great community.
Thank you. We do live in a great community.
