It was nice to have a relaxing Sunday following a busy week.

When I am especially busy – before and following the Pennsylvania Truck Rally – I am glad that God created one day a week for worship and rest.

Following church and lunch I took time to enjoy some of our birds.

After dark that evening we could see fireworks on the horizon in a variety of places.

I love being outside on a warm evening – especially when there are fireworks in the neighborhood.

So the sky, the earth and all that filled them were finished.

² By the seventh day God finished the work he had been doing. So on the seventh day he rested from all his work.

³ God blessed the seventh day and made it a holy day. He made it holy because on that day he rested. He rested from all the work he had done in creating the world.
