Church Baseball Tournament – Part 1

I have lots of pictures of our church’s fundraising tournament on Saturday, April 30.

I am going to post them in 3 entries so the guys, their friends and parents can see the action.

1 - Baseball (1)We missed the first two games – because it was early (8:30) and it was a cold morning. We arrived for the 10:30 game.

1 - Baseball (15)Most of the funds are raised through food and donations.

This year the funds went to a community family.

1 - Baseball (16)There are suggested prices, but the money is put in a donation box.

1 - Baseball (20)It is sometimes difficult to know which team to cheer for because everyone is from our church. 🙂 We have three teams: Grey, Red, and Orange. For this day another team is created by using older guys who used to play for one of the teams.

This photo was taken by my friend Inge – from TFC – who lives across the street from the park. This is where I stood to take some of the pictures. I tried to stay behind the fence so I didn’t get hit by a ball, but a few times a ball hit the corner post were I was standing.

It’s nice that our family plays for Red – that way we only have to cheer for one team. 🙂
