The European Starlings – and many other birds – seem to appreciate that I am keeping black oil sunflower seeds on top of the snow today.
I put a tray of seeds on top of a bush just outside a kitchen window – and keep refilling it.

I love watching the birds.
I do the same during snowstorms ~ the seed gets buried over and over ~ 🙂
