Red Sky At Morning, Sailors Take Warning

1 (2)I had difficulty believing that this beautiful morning was going to soon turn to rain.

DSC_4743However, the red was short lived and soon began turning pink and purple.

DSC_4738Then within minutes the clouds began moving in – changing the pretty red to gray.

DSC_4755The red sky and rain also reminded me of the time in the Bible when Jesus was talking to the Pharisees and Sadducees in Matthew 16.

“You are good at reading the weather signs of the skies—red sky tonight means fair weather tomorrow; red sky in the morning means foul weather all day—but you can’t read the obvious signs of the times!”
