Last Sunday afternoon the Truck Rally committee met at our place to fine-tune this year’s Rally on Saturday, June 28. Rally Celebration is the next day, Sunday June 29.

Rally Coordinators – Kristen and Jere – led the meeting in discussing things that need to be worked on before the rally.

Would it be possible to have a large tent for the children’s activities?

How do we make “Blessing the Trucks” work?

Those are just two of the many things we discussed.

I do not enjoy committee meetings, but I love this one and enjoy listening to everyone’s desire to make the Truck Rally even better than last year.

Following supper and fellowship most of the people went home. However, there was still one more meeting. Several stayed for another hour to choose the menu and discuss Lancaster Chapter Dinner Concert on March 29 at Yoder’s Restaurant, New Holland, PA.

• The featured music for the dinner concert will be By Grace Ministry/Amos and Margaret Raber, Wakarusa, Indiana.
  • They will also share about God’s faithfulness during tragedy in their lives and how trucking was involved in his salvation.

Truck Rally and Rally Celebration is June 28 & 29 at Lebanon Expo Center, Lebanon, PA

• The featured music for the Rally and Celebration will be Bontrager Family Singers, Kalona, Iowa.
