My siblings and I take care of the core part of the meal – set up, drink, meat, and paper supplies while the next two generations bring finger foods and things they like to have at this get-together.

No, they do not have children. They rescue orphaned animals – squirrels, skunks, raccoons, etc. Those are their children.
