  1. Love that you got close ups of the intricate quilting, piecing and applique. It always makes me want to be able to chat with each quilter and find out the story behind each quilt! I like some better than others, but I am always amazed at the skill required to make such beautiful quilts! That Grandmother’s Flower Garden with the hexies is dear to my heart – she might have run out of the darker pink for the one hexie when she substituted a light pink one, but I wonder if there isn’t something else behind why she did that. Hmmmm. . Just seeing those quilts made my day, Doris!
