Friday, September 27

1 (2)10:30 a.m. – There were already lots of people looking at items in North Hall when I arrived.

These things would be auctioned later in the day and on Saturday morning.

DSC_7583Duane Ness is the Chairman of this event and because he has to be at a lot of places and meet a lot of people – especially on Friday – he uses a Segway to get around.

2Earl Fahnestock was busy receiving and organizing items that had arrived for auction.

1 (3)He and his wife, Charlene (above), are Committee Chairpersons for the North Hall Auctions.

DSC_7802This is my photographer friend, John Minnich. He has been doing this for many years.

A few years ago he couldn’t be here and asked me to fill in for him. The next year I was asked to stay as his assistant, as it is difficult for one photographer to always be where things are happening.
