Sunday was a beautiful evening at our pavilion when the Hawthorne family came for our annual picnic.

The Hawthorne’s are my mother’s family.

   I love watching these little ones – two of my sister, Nancy’s, granddaughters.

   I like the intensity of my cousin Donna’s expression as she visits with Aunt Hazel.

Visiting is always an important part of reunions.

Everyone brought a hot and cold dish so there were lots of delicious choices.

I love visiting with this family. Because of distance, this is the only time of year we see some of these aunts, uncles, and cousins.
