Tonight was the viewing/visitation for my friend Joanne.
Tomorrow is her funeral.
I said to Cerwin, “Do you think we could stay home and pretend this didn’t happen?”
He didn’t think that would work. 🙁
When I told her son Kerry my plan (to pretend it didn’t happen), he said, “There are more of us who would have liked to join you.”
That is all I have. I don’t feel creative – or like posting pretty pictures.

I’m so sorry, Doris! I thought of you as soon as I saw her obituary. I didn’t know she was struggling with cancer. Was this sudden? It seems like you just recently took this picture. Also I didn’t realize that she’s Chris’s aunt.
I realize I was mixed up when I wrote my above comment, Doris. I had just read the obituary of Chris’s grandpa before I saw this post about Joanne.
