Visiting in Wisconsin – Part 1

Tuesday, July 16

1 (1)We left Bob and Doris’ house shortly after 7:00 a.m. on Tuesday morning – first traveling over the dirt road that goes by their house, then again picking up Route 2 to Duluth.

1 (2)We got a glimpse of Lake Superior in Duluth.

1 (3)Don’t miss the “load” on the truck in the foreground. 🙂

1 (4)He shouldn’t have any problem when he gets to the scales.

1 (5)  I love country roads, so enjoyed when we got off the interstate as we neared Reuben and Judi’s house in Wisconsin. Judi is our niece (Bob and Doris’ youngest daughter).

1 (6)We like how the crops are varied in these fields.

1 (9)Our grandniece “K” wasn’t so sure about these strangers at first.

I will call her K, because she is in the process of being adopted.

1 (10)We arrived at their house in the late afternoon, so after getting acquainted with K (the first time we saw her in person) Judi prepared to feed her as we waited for Reuben to get home for supper.

1 (11)Reuben and Judi planned to take us on a picnic, but it was hot and humid so they felt that eating in air conditioning would be more comfortable.

1 (12)After supper, Reuben and Judi took us to see some local sites. My seat in their car was next to Miss K.
