We left Bob and Doris’ house shortly after 7:00 a.m. on Tuesday morning – first traveling over the dirt road that goes by their house, then again picking up Route 2 to Duluth.
We got a glimpse of Lake Superior in Duluth.
Don’t miss the “load” on the truck in the foreground. 🙂
He shouldn’t have any problem when he gets to the scales.
I love country roads, so enjoyed when we got off the interstate as we neared Reuben and Judi’s house in Wisconsin. Judi is our niece (Bob and Doris’ youngest daughter).
We like how the crops are varied in these fields.
Our grandniece “K” wasn’t so sure about these strangers at first.
I will call her K, because she is in the process of being adopted.
We arrived at their house in the late afternoon, so after getting acquainted with K (the first time we saw her in person) Judi prepared to feed her as we waited for Reuben to get home for supper.
Reuben and Judi planned to take us on a picnic, but it was hot and humid so they felt that eating in air conditioning would be more comfortable.
After supper, Reuben and Judi took us to see some local sites. My seat in their car was next to Miss K.
Miss K, Reuben, and Judi in front of an amazing rock formation in their area.
Tonight I will show you pictures from the other side of this huge rock.
