Closing program for the day – the Grandstand Show

2 (1)The evening program was not all according to my taste or likes, but it was certainly an elaborate celebration.

2 (3)These guys sang acapella bebop.

2 (5)There were lots of fireworks – and because we were in the upper level, the fireworks were straight across from us at times. We didn’t even have to look up.

2 (6)Some performances were done in the air – dangling from wires and cords.

What an interesting day. Now we can say that we have experienced the Calgary Stampede!

  1. No, I just held the camera. It was a very interesting mix. There were a few others that I didn’t photograph because my view of the stage was sometimes hindered. I didn’t have any problem with those in the air or on the back part of the stage.
